I want to take this time to wish you a beautiful holiday season filled with love and peace. It’s a time spent in community, shared with friends and family. Who doesn’t want Christmas to last forever?!?
So what do Caminos, Christmas and Community all have in common?
I recently came across a really interesting Danish word — hygge (pronounced h•you•g, ending with the “guh” sound in girl). It’s an adjective, a verb and a noun that, in simple terms, means enjoying the little things. From what I’ve seen, there’s no real specific definition of hugge… it’s the concept of enjoying the things that make you happy. It’s often something people strive for — in a sense, a state of calm and relaxation.
I have a holiday gift for you! I’ve created a ten video course so you can learn more about hygge and how to keep those special ‘comfy’ holiday or Camino vibes alive year round, on or off The Way.
Just go here to view Hygge Happiness:
It doesn’t take a holiday – We can learn how to find joy in the ordinary every day, just like when we are on the Camino.
Buen Camino!
